Strange problem

Hi there,

I have a strange problem that just started in VS 2005 (which has been
installed for many months). For no apparant reason, anything I select on the
"Edit | Find and Replace" submenu is no longer visible. For instance, if I
select "Quick Find" either through the menu or its shortcut key (Ctrl+F),
the find window pops up but it's not visible. That is, I know it's there
because I can type a word and press <Enter> and it will find it. The window
itself is completely absent however. This just started out of the blue and
the problem persists even after running the VS install program in repair
mode. Anybody have any recommendations on how to correct this. Thanks.

Problem solved thanks to Jon Davis' own post just before mine.
