When opening a project, the window that displays files/folders is
extremely slow when attempting to navigate a directory tree. Has anyone
else seen this ?

Also, NO, I am not using VSS.

This happens on my laptop as well as desktop at the office. Laptop is
new with base Windows XP + VS 2005. Nothing else has been installed on
the machine.

The navigation slowness does not happen in other apps. There is
something wrong here.
