BUG: VS.NET 2003 File-Open dialog blocking bug

1) Open two instances of VS.NET
2) a) In the first instance of VS.NET, hit Ctrl-o to open the "Open File"
dialog
2) b) Select a file in the dialog and Ctrl-c to copy it
3) a) In the second instance of VS.NET, hit Ctrl-o
3) b) Hit Ctrl-v to paste the file

You'll be blocked until you close the first dialog.

I know this is a strange way to operate VS.NET, but it's an easy way to copy
files between projects when you're wheeling and dealing.

Hello,

Thanks for the post and the feedback of the product.

I also reproduced this problem. I think it may be caused by file locking in
vs.net. We could copy it successfully to windows explorer. As you said, the
scenario rarely happens. I will report it to our product group too. Please
post here if you have any more concerns.

Thanks again.
