Something has gone really wrong with my VS 2002 under .NET 1.1...

I can't make any controls do postbacks in my web applications. You read that
correctly. If I add a Button web control, for example and write code in the
event handler, it never executes.

What happened? Do I have to reinstall VS 2002?

If your facts are accurate (Visual Studio .NET 2002 and .NET Framework
v1.1), you will probably have to reinstall, as VS 2002 works with .NET
Framework v1.0.
Did you, by any chance, uninstall .NET Framework v1.0?

Try a repair install if I have not interpreted your situation correctly and
you do have .NET Framework v1.0 installed.
