Properties Dialog is empty

I have a project in VS 2005 when I right click on a control on a webform,
then select the properties item.  I get an empty properties window.  Also, if
i go to the aspx source or visual basic source I cannnot edit with the
keyboard.

I think that this problem was reported years ago with VS.NET 2002/2003. Try
searching the newsgroups in Google for solutions that people tried...
