Better formatted Output Window

Is there any way to control the way text is formatted in the Output Window?

Whenever I compile and recieve warnings or errors it's really hard to glean
information at a glance.

My projects are stored in the My Documents folder and the output window
insists on listing the entire file path to the CPP file generating to errors
and warnings. This creates really long lines in the output window that forces
me to use the horizontal scrollbar to read the entire line of a warning or
error.

Seefer,
Rather then use the Output Window, have you tried the Error Window in VS
2005 or the Tasks Window in VS 2002 & 2003.

The Error/Tasks Window will display the errors from the Output Window in a
grid, so its easier to deal with. On rare occasion do I need to go back to
the Output Window...

Hope this helps
