When I took my laptop home last night, I couldn't successfully start-up SQL
Server Business Intelligence Development Studio.
I got the following message:
"Timed out waiting for a program to execute.  The command being executed was
"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framwork\v2.0.50727\csc.exe" /noconfig /fullpaths
@"C:\Documents and Settings\me\Local Settings\Temp\lmp__gb_.cmdline"

My wireless connectivity is very spotty at home, is it related to that?
What can I do to get around this issue?

Thanks,
Darrick

Hi Darrick,

Does this problem only occur at your home?

I suggest you can check your Windows' application event log or use the
filemon(http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.html) to find more
detailed information about this issue. The error message does not provide
more useful info about the problem.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Gary Chang

I sent a response, but it apparently didn't make it.

The problem was Tenebril's SpyCatcher.  When I removed it, BIDS worked, when
I put it back on, it didn't.
