TS - 06 Apr 2006 16:02 GMT after i open a project i go to View--> Pending Checkins Window. In my environment, a title bar for pending checkins appears at the bottom of the IDE collapsed, then when i click it it expands. After i've been developing for a while for some reason when i go to click on this window it no longer pops up. I would assume this is some bug in the IDE that won't be fixed thru this news post, but thought i would give it a try. I"m using VS 2003 and Version Manger source control.
thanks

The title bar for that window dissappears from the possible windows at the bottom, then when you go back to view-->show .... the title bar appears, and then when you click it it doesn't expand.

It appears there is some displaying problem with the Pending Checkins Window inside VS.NET 2003 IDE. Can you dock and add it as a tab toolwindow beside the Solution Explorer?
By the way, does this problem occurs before, what's the original position of that window in the IDE. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Version Manger source control in order to restore that window to its default position?
Thanks!

TS - 11 Apr 2006 20:40 GMT sorry i didn't scroll down to see the rest of your post.
The window always appeared as a tab at the bottom along with the find, etc. When i move the whole toolbar set next to the solution explorer, i haven't had the problem recur.
I won't be able to attempt the unistall/reinstall because of protocol where i work.
does this help at all?
thanks

>When i move the whole toolbar set next to the solution explorer, >i haven't had the problem recur. Is this alright? Usually this would be the default position for the Pending checkins window in VS2005.
Thanks!

However we couldn't repro this problem in our local machine. Can you repro it on any other machine without that third-party addin (Version Manger source control)?
If the problem still exists in a clean VS2005 environment, I suggest you may submit this issue to our product feedback center, our development team may communicate with you directly on the issue there:

Thanks for your understanding.
