Hi Dave,
Sorry for the delay response, we only found your latest message in our
internal newsgroup system. :(
>How can i create a literal and then get a resource
>placed in it entering the resource name and the
>english text of the string?
Do you mean you want to drag and drop a resource string to your source code
file in Visual Studio IDE?
If so, I am afraid you could only get the string of that resource file's
full name. Please let me know if I have misunderstood anything.
Thanks for your understanding!
Best regards,
Gary Chang

Hello;
The drag/drop would be useful too but no, what I want is:
1. I create a literal
2. I click something to say get the string from a resource
3. It prompts me for the resource name and the English value.
4. It adds that entry to the resource file.
5. It sets the literal to that resource entry.

I am afraid the Visual Studio 2005 IDE doesn't have such feature. If you
want such function in the future version of the Visual Studio, I highly
suggest you can submit this feedback to our product feedback center:

Thanks for your understanding!

Wow - that's surprising. Ok, is there a way to:
1. I create a resource string
2. I create a literal
3. I select the resource string for the literal
Not type in the resource string, but select it so there are no problems with
mis-typing.

I don't know such a shortcut way in VS2005 IDE. :(
Thanks!
