Greeting,

 I'm using VS.NET IDE 2003 (ver 7+), but using VSS 2005 (ver 8+).

I already setup a VSS DB, allow multiple chk out. Doing web project.
Whenever I chk out an item in the IDE, its always being exclusively chk
out. Hence can't execute the multiple chk out. And I can't find any
option during the chk out operation to indicate non-exclusive more.

 Anyone?

My experience is that the option to do multiple check-outs is enabled by the SourceSafe
administrator in the configuration for the VSS database.  I don't think that the version of VS.NET
makes a difference.

Yah, the enable is done at the VSS admin.

But whenever I chk-out stuffs, its "exclusively" being done so. Dunno
why.

Maybe some settings needed to be tune in the IDE?
I explore the option, source safe, whatever, but can't find anything
helpful.

Now I tried the VS 2005, and found the expected feature.

Seems to me the VS 2003 and VSS 2005 isn't that 100% integrated.
