Hi David,
If you plan to deploy some macros with a user interface (toolbars, buttons,
etc), it's much better to deploy them as an add-in. There is a section "For
add-in developers" on my web site (below) to get you started with add-ins,
and I have written several HOWTO articles about creating toolbars and
buttons.
