It seems like there have been a lot of issues w/ 05.  And no, I haven't
evaluated any of the betas or the release.

Just as an informal 'poll', if you have successfully used the RELEASE
version of VS05 with *NO* problems, please reply to this post.

(No problems being defined as same or fewer problems than what you
experienced in VS03).

Thanks

Me, for one.  No problems at all, and VS2005 even runs fairly fast on
my system.

We're doing fine with Visual Studio 2005 Professional in our classrooms and
labs, teaching VB, C++ and C# classes. No significant issues, no drama.
Granted, the academic environment hardly equates to professional
development, but we're pleased so far.

Part of this may also have to do with where one is coming from.  We
converted over a solution with 40 projects.  And we seem to be having
problems.  So it could be an issue with the conversion process that causes
some issue we're having or it could be the ide itself.

I have absolutely *NO* problems with VS2005 as long as I don't try to use it
for developing software.

So, what do you with it then? Fire it up, look at the pretty buttons
and shut it down? :)
