In the IDE I have the ToolBox and DataSources Tabbed/Docked on the left so that they fly out when you hover over the tab. Sometimes they don't want to go back in. Is there a trick to make them retract. Problem is most prononuced in the design mode. Hi Chuck, I am afraid the problem in your machine appears to be machine-specific, we cannot repro it in our side. If you cannot remember the shortcut keys, I suggest you can also use the corresponding menu commands---the Toolbox in the View menu and Show Data Source in the Data menu. It happens on my work and home machine; so unlikely that a reinstall will fix it. I guess it's a beature. Hi Chuck, Another workaround is to disable auto-hide behavior of the Toolbox and Data source toolwindow, just pin them in your VS2005 IDE, by clicking the nail button in the top-right of those toolwindows.
