IDE VS 2005 Crashes On Open Solution

Every time I open my solution, (upgraded from vs.net 2003) the ide crashes,
and tells me it needs to close. Every once in a while it just informs me of a
serious error, and allows me to work with the solution. After that the IDE
won't close properly.
This only occurs with one specific solution, but i don't have any other
solution quite the size of that one (10 projects). But it occurs every time
that solution is opened and immediately.

thanks

The issue was NOT random. It occurred any time I opened my solution which had
been upgraded from vs.net 2003.

I actually solved my issue by opening my original solution in vs.net 2003
and removing ALL references, ignored the errors, deleted the solution,
created a NEW 2005 solution, and added my projects one by one, then added my
refrences.

seems the upgrade didn't work too well. (even though i tried multiple
times...)

thanks for your help.

yes, there is some problems with the upgraded VS2003 projects in VS2005
IDE, your workaround is an effective solution to such issue, thanks for
sharing this experience with us.

Good Luck!
