the build events configuration page in project settings is available for c#
projects and not for VB projects.
it took me some time to find this out, and i'm not sure that this is by
design.
does someone know of a manual way of configuring a VB.NET project to have
this page (i saw few entries that look related in the csproj file but
copying it does not do the trick)

10x.

AFAIK, VB.NET 2002/2003 does not support build events, VB 2005 does.

You can create an add-in or macro to provide build actions for VB.NET
Projects.
