Hi,

When I select "add connection..." from the server explorer Data Connections
node the atttributes dialog does not come up. I'm wondering if there is some
way I can check to see what is necessary to open this dialog from VS .NET
2003.

Background:  I originally had VS 2005 installed, then uninstalled that and
installed a trial version of VS .NET 2003, and then uninstalled that one and
installed a full version of VS .NET 2003. The previous two versions I could
perfrom the above.

thx
Peter

Ok, I found the problem, was with the MDAC installation. Since I'm running
Windows XP I couldn't use MDAC install from Microsoft download, but I read
on MSDN that you can reinstall MDAC for XP by reinstalling the mdac.inf.
This fixed the problem.
