New User confused with MessageBox.show

I am new to using Visual Studio .NET and in both VB and C# the
MeesageBox.Show command is only show blank windows no matter what te prompt
is. Anyone know what is up??

Hi Carlos

Here is the entire code for a starting form and a Message Box. The meesage
box ia always blank (buttons and all). Again as I said I have just pick up VS
.NET and a self-taught learning project.

The code is correct, so I suppose that there is something broken in your
.NET installation. Can you try a .NET Framework / VS.NET repair?

Been there - donr that.

I even  try a version  other than the acedemic to confirm that it was not an
issue with the version of VS.NET. I guess I will try it again. Also I have
the same issue on multiple systems. (Desktop and Laptop). Anything else you
can think of would be appreciated.

Hi Carlos.

Success! The problenm was McAfee Virusscan 8.x and the latest patch fixed it.

I thought you would like to know, that I was not going crazy.
