error loading property page

I've seen a few others with error loading property page problems.  All
of a sudden my source control dialog stopped working.  I use clearcase
and cannot open any of the source control property pages to correct
the problem.  (under the vs2003 ide Tools->Options->source control)

when i select open from source control on the file menu in the IDE,
all I get is "unspecified error".

this is happening under vs2003.  I did have a similar problem with
vs2002 but after uninstalling/re-installing clearcase, the vs2002
source control is working just fine.

From reading others complaining about this problem, uninstalling
vs2003 and reinstalling it doesn't appear to fix the problem since the
options are remembered from the previous install.

since I'm the official builder for our products, it would be nice if I
could get this fixed asap.

thanks,

Hi John,

This problem may be caused by the incomplete pathing information for a
registry key for ClearCase.

Due to security considerations, VS.NET 2003 requires a complete path to any
installed source control provider.  I suggest under the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Atria\ClearCase, you can update the registry
"SCCServerPath" key to specify the fully-qualified path to ssscc.dll (for
ClearCase: "C:\Program Files\Rational\ClearCase\bin\ccscc.dll").

Hope this helps!

I have this same problem; I am missing web forms, Data, and components toolbox options and when I try to add a component I receive the "error loading property page" message.

The only item that I found in the regestry is sourcessafe and it is fully qualified.

Any other ideas
