Tabs in more than one row in editor?

I would like to set the source code editor up such that the tabs (with the
names of the open files) are all shown in more rows if there are too many.
Currently they are all in one row, which becomes quite uncomfortable when
working with many open files.
So: instead of

... | File4 | File5 | File6 | File7 | ....

I would like to see something like:
File1 | File2 | File3
File4 | File5 | File6 | File7
File8 | File9

Is there a way to achieve this?

I don?t think so. Yes, it's a pain, specially because the tabs insist on
showing folder names too...
