I have a new problem that just started happening -- but as far as I can tell, only in my Visual Studio IDE.  When I try to do anything that requires use of the file dialogue box, such as "Save As" or looking up an image, it takes forever.  Perhaps as long as a minute just to do the folder drop-down, or to move up one level using the folder up icon.  This happens regardless of other applications I am running (or when no other applications).  I don't have an excessive number of files or disk usage, and I don't seem to be having this same problem with other applications.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:  This only seems to be occuring when I use the drop-down on the "Save In" box, and only in the VS IDE application.  Once I do that, though, all of the file dialogue within the VS IDE is painfully (unusably) slow.  I would appreciate any ideas.  Thanks.
