Disable Stored Procedure Boxed Statements?

The blue boxed borders drawn around SQL statements are
distracting when writing a store procedure via the Server Explorer.
I looked around in Options but don't see how to disable the bordered
text. Is there a way to do so and how?

Clinton,

There is an option called 'Enable DML Markers' located in the tools/options
dialog in the page Database Tools --> Database Projects. By checking or
unchecking this checkbox you can have the blue-boxed borders (also called
DML Markers) to either show up or not.

But, you should know that by turning off this option, you won't be able to
launch the query builder for the individual blocks of SQL text.

Let me if this helps!

Thanks. It does help. I'll see how it goes with the DML Markers
disabled.

I was looking to get rid of the boxes myself.  I didn't like the
disable idea b/c i like that option.  I did it another way which works
great.  In the Fonts & Colors options, make the foreground the same
color as the background.  That way, it won't show up, but it's still
there to view in a sql window.
