I have the form/control properties window docked and set
so it shrinks away when not used. After I have run my
windows program in the IDE the Properties window will not
appear though it is showing on the right edge of the
screen. I have to close Visual Studio .Net down and reload
it to be able to acces the properties window.

Anyone know why?

I found a message from back in November that may work.

Tools|Options|Reset Window Layout

Also, you may want to run VS in the maximized state and see if the properties window still does not appear.

Thanks,
