Hi,
We have a bunch of MSDN subscriptions and with that we get the TFS
Workgroup ed. My problem is that we are 7 developers and Wg Ed only
allow 5 users or is it connections, I am not sure.
Can someone tell me if there is a way to have all 7 of us using TFS in
a sensible way, or is it better to stay on sourcesafe?
I.e. can we create 7 users for TFS and make sure there are no more than
5 concurrent connections at a time, or does it strictly limit the
number of users?
The reason I am asking is because I dont have a couple of days to set
it up and test it, I'd rather ask and see if it can be done before i
waste my time.
P.S. We cannot buy the full version, because that will cost us $133,000
Au, and we cannot afford that, I mean with that we can hire another
develper for 14 months!?!?!
Any help would be appreciated.

It's limited by concurrent connections, so you can create that 7 users, but
no more than 5 will be able to connect at a time

That 'connect at a time', does that mean no more than 5 will be able to
work in VS.NET 2005 at a time? Or is a connection only established on a
"get Latest Version' and 'Check In' etc.. commands?

I'm not completely sure, but I think connection is established once you start
VS so they probably won't be able to work more than five at a time
