Is there any detailed information on what functionality this version adds
compared to the VS2005 For Software Developers version?

I have read
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/teamsystem/products/compare/default.aspx

but there is only 2 lines of difference that does not appear justify the
price (at least for me so far!)

I have spent a few hours on the phone and googling to little avail.

Has anyone evaluated the differences or can anyone comment on their
experience?

Thanks in advance...

First of all Team System comes in three different "flavours", Architect
edition, Delveloper edition, and Test Edition.

Architect edition includes all the componentes necessary to make system
diagrams, logical datacenter diagrams, SOA, classes diagrams, and validate
them, BUT does not come with developer tools creating any other kind of
projects  (class libraries, web sites, etc etc)

Developer edition comes with tools for developing (web sites, winforms,
class libraries, etc), that includes also class diagrams, unit testing (only
unit testing), code coverage tools and static code analisys tool.

Test Edition comes with all the necessary tools for testing, that includes
unit testing, web testing, load testing, code coverage, but as in architect
edition you can't develop web sites and so on.

And finally, answering to your question, Team Suite, comes with ALL of these
tools, I mean, it has all the tools from the three different versions, that's
why the price difference.

Thanks for your answer, but as i said in my first post, i'm already aware of
the "high level" difference between the versions. What I'm after is specifics
in the functionality between Team Suite version and Developer version.

Is there any detailed documentation on this? or can anyone comment from
experience?

Hmmm I don't get it clearly, you want a list of functionalities which are
avaliable and  not avaliable in the developer version?

So for my knowledge, there is nothing specific or completely necessary for
developing applications in Team Suite, which is not on Developer edition.
