Hi,
I can't for the life of me figure out how to get intellisense working
in visual studio 2005 for WSF files.
What does work:
- WSF schema works, e.g. intellisense for the <job> markup
- V.S. checks for existance of external scripts referenced via <script
src="..." >
What doesn't Work:
- intellisense for inline scripts in WSF, both user-defined and
intrinsic objects
- intellisense for referenced external scripts (I know this is pushing
it)
- debugging (at least not via F5 -- I've not tested "attach to
process")
I also noticed that there is an explicit Windows Scripting Host handler
for those files now, e.g. when you right-click the wsf file in the
solution explorer and choose "open with..." -- but what does this do
different from opening the file with the default "html editor" handler?
it appears there is no difference at all: I still get intellisense for
the WSF schema!
Is this just a half-baked feature? I know we're all being pushed to
Monad/MSH, but that is not an option for a lot of us administering
boxes since it requires the 2.0 CLR, never mind the fact it's still in
beta...
The wsf schema intellisense, while nice, is hardly groundbreaking.
Opening an WSF file with the xml editor and defining your own schema in
a loaded xsd file will do exactly the same job.
Ideas anyone?

What problems are you having.
MS website was gone for 10 minutes from 3:59 am, Eastern.
I posted the Gates / Hu menu
http://www.watchingamerica.com/chinadaily000008.shtml
"May be I did no research on it."
"I take the duck with the salsa sauce"
MS server took a shoot at me, saying to large, don't try again
