Hi,
just trying to publish an app via ClickOnce and it says that the IIS server
needs Frontpage extensions - I though this was not needed anymore?
Running WinServer2003.

Hi Stan4th,

Out of interest, how would it work if it didn't use Frontpage extensions??

What version of VS are you using, and where exactly is this "ClickOnce"
button?

Hi Gerry,
thanks for reply - I suppose I was getting a little frustrated as I am
really keen to demo this facility to our team. I keep hitting various
barriers with permissions - this server I've had no problems with other web
based stuff (Web services and aspx).
Suppose it doesn't really matter I'll just have to but the extensions on.

Hi Stan,

You may want to have a quick read of my post below about Frontpage and
Sharepoint, it gives an overview of these technologies. Microsoft's
official docs for Windows Server 2003, Sharepoint and IIS6 deliberately
avoid discussing this technology in the context of using VS.NET (and
specifically is you want to use it with Source Control)
