I started with .NET 2003 and installed an 2005 Visual C++ express
edition. After uninstalled the express edition, all my file
associations for .NET 2003 are completely nuked. Is there any solution
short of reinstalling?

Using the Windows Explorer, right click on a solution file (or project,
etc.), click Open With, select the VS.NET 2003 and set it by default with
the checkbox.
