How could I record a script that requires IIS6 NTLM Integrated Windows
authentication, having set up the username/password pairds in the desired
user group.

Currently even the first page fail (returning 401 error).  I know I could
update the test script to use the specified user group- group (as opposed to
generated username/password pairs), but then how can I record the button
clicking, form filling actions (the page failed before I could do these
actions)?

Based on my experience, the ACT could only record the script of page's UI
action, I am afraid there is no ways to set up the username/password
of the desired user group into the recording script.

Thanks for your understanding!
