I have created a Console Application project in VB.NET and later I added a
Setup project to the solution. In the properties of the Setup I selected true
on Remove previous version.

But when I try to install a new version of the application I receive an
error that I must uninstall a previous version. I thought that it would
automaticly remove the previous version itself. Or at least the user what to
do. What am I doing wrong?

You need to increase the Version property of the setup project - it's not an
older version unless you do that. It will prompt to change some codes,
accept that change.
