VS.net is slow now

I've used vs.net for a few months and added projects. Noe my vs.net is 5 time
slower? has anyone else had this problem, and what could cause this?

Actually, it was a service that was stopped to save resources. I have cold
fusion installed and had it turned off. IIS was still trying to associate
extentions with a stopped service. I turned it back on and all is well in the
Universe.
