I have the "allow editing of read-only files" option turned off, and a dialog
used to pop up asking me a few options if i typed on a read-only file.  I
mush have checked the box to not show the dialog anymore, so now, when i type
on a read-only file, nothing happens.  How can I get this dialog to come
back?  I've tried turning it on and back off, and importing my old settings,
but nothing seems to work.

I also do some researching in the VS2005 beta2 version, but there isn't any
settings about this.

By the way, I have already checked this issue with VS2005 August CTP
version, there is some difference with the beta2 version, the dialog you
concerned will not occur while you attempt to edit a read-only file under
the August CTP version...

Thanks!

Best regards,
