Collision between VS.NET and VS 6.0 ?

We are developing software in Visual Studio 6.0
environment under Windows 2000 Proffesional operating
system. I am planning to install VS.NET and start learning
.NET platform. Can anyone advise me whether installation
of VS.NET might cause any problems with our regular VS 6.0
development environment? Thanks.
