Hi Mikhail,
Ah, so it can be used. IMHO, it's a bit precipitate to use a Beta 2 for
production, maybe with a Final Beta or Release Candidate, but...
About the other quesion, according to this document:
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0 (Beta) Compatibility
http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/default.aspx?pull=/library/en-us/dnnetdep
/html/netfxcompat.asp
"2.0 stand-alone application (Web or Microsoft Windows client) fails with
computer with 1.1", it does not matter if you use or not 2.0 features. Is it
correct?

I meant recompiling for 1.1 since both VS 2003 and VS 2005 are available. VS
2005 solution cannot be opened in VS 2003, but it is possible to either
maintain two solutions or build externally using make files.
I did work on my own ASP.NET 1.1 web site using VS 2005 Beta 1 and was
successful, but process was not suitable for novice users.

So we can say I can use the VS 2005 and just compile project for 1.1. until
2.0 is fully release. My provider is supporting it.
