I have VS.Net 2003 installed on an WIN XP machine. I'am
trying to create a new project on a WIN server 2003 - Web
edition machine. They are both on the same domain. What
needs to be done, so that VS.Net can communicate and set
up the project?

Hi Justin

Did you mean you want to create an ASP.NET web application on the Win
server 2003? The Wind server 2003 already have .NET frame work and IIS
installed, we don't have to install other software, You only need to use a
domain account which has enough permission on the Win server 2003. The
default Web access mode for VS.NET is set to file share. Your current
account should have permission to WWWROOT folder on the Win server 2003.

HTH.

"Microsoft Security Announcement: Have you installed the patch for
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-026?? If not Microsoft strongly advises
you to review the information at the following link regarding Microsoft
Security Bulletin MS03-026
http://www.microsoft.com/security/security_bulletins/ms03-026.asp and/or to
visit Windows Update at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to install the
patch.  Running the SCAN program from the Windows Update site will help to
insure you are current with all security patches, not just MS03-026."
