Hi,

I am trying to  compile any type of C++ program created using the VS wizard
and get errors. It seems that VS doesn't find the standard library files.
"fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'stdlib.h': No such file or
directory" is one of the errors. I get the same for iotream, windows.h etc. I
have tried to uninstall and reinstall but nothing seems to work. What is
going wrong?

I have Visual Studio .Net 2003 EA on a Win XP SP1. I also have Visual Studio
6.0 in stalled.

Hope someone can help me with this issue!

Best regards

In the options, there should be a directories tab where you list the search
paths for includes, libs, executables etc. You also need the Platform SDK
installed for the up-to-date Windows header files, list them before the
Visual Studio directories.
