I have Vs.Net 2002 Edition. And I have just
downloaded .Net FRamework 1.1 redistributable package from
microsoft.

I installed it, it didn't have errors.
After I installed it i saw that i also had the previos
version (1.0).

If I want Vs.Net to work with .Net framework 1.1 what do I
do ?

At this moment if I look at the .Net Components
in "Customize Toolbox" there all 1.0 version.

Thanx, Gaby.

simple solution is to uninstall the 1.0 and then reinstall
the 1.1

That's right, .Net Framework 1.0 and 1.1 can run together on one computer.

You buy VS.NET 2003. It is *not possible* to make VS.NET 2002 use .Net
Framework 1.0. For users of 2002, VS.NET 2003 is only $29 (valid until
September 30th iirc).

This has been discussed countless times on this newsgroup alone. In the
future, please search for an answer yourself before posting.

Dear Gabriel,

VS.Net 2002 works with Framework 1.0.
VS.Net 2003 works with Framework 1.1.

You can't use framework 1.1 on VS.NET 2002. If you upgrade the framework,
you must upgrade VS too. Any attempt to crack VS.Net 2002 only make your
applications dangerously unpredictable and unstable.

Its important to upgrade VS, not only the free Framework, because of the
bugs corrected on IDE too.

The upgrade only costs 29$. Thats half the price of a computer game.
So, you have no excuse! I say you upgrade now!

Regards,
Mario

This may be a stupid question but I'm more interested in knowing if vs.net
2003 will work with Framework 1.1.  Anyone?

TIA
