Hi,

We have a workstation here that is compiling and loading projects very slow.
We notice that this started happening when we installed XP SP2. I'm not sure
if this is an SP2 issue or not. But the specs on this developers workstation
is:
P4 2.8GHz
1Gig of Ram
30 Gig HDD

any response would be greatly appreciated.

I believe this a known issue.  Try updating the 1.1 framework to the newly
releasedd service pack 1.  Although, .net 1.1 sp1 is has some install issues
as well.  Do a google search for ".net 1.1 service pack 1 problem" and you'll
see a few.

Yes we have installed the service pack a couple of weeks ago and it doesnt
work.

Also, we have tried the search text that you provided us but it is mostly
application problems not VS it self

Cheers
