hi,
i have vs.net 2003 installed and twice today, i got a pop-up that asked if i wanted to debug
svchost.exe (i haven't opened or used vs.net in weeks). i attempted to debug it, but i really don't
know what i'm doing when it comes to that. now, i'm noticing that when i click on a email in outlook
express (version 6) to reply to it, i get a message that says "not enough memory". i'm wondering if
there is a correlation between the two, as i have never had this problem with outlook express
before? i also would like to know if i can stop the process for svchost.exe, if i can't solve this
problem and continue working. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

i forgot to add this in my previous email, but i noted that in task manager, there are 3 copies of
svchost.exe running. is that right?

Congratulations! You have the MSBlaster virus. Go download Q823980
(and why didn't you do so sooner?)!

Early this morning, there was a news story about it, so I ran the symantec fix tool and installed the
patch -
who knew! <smile>
i also installed zone alarm.
thanks
