Using .Net's devenv.exe from the command line

I am attempting to automate a build process that would include running
Micorsoft Development Environment's devenv.exe from the command-line. I have
found the command line help for this command, but would like to see some
examples and more depth of discussion.

Is there good documentation available for this online?

I appreciate your assistance.
