Hi.

In searching for something else, I found the following directory:

...VisualStudio\Vfp98\Wizards\Template

I installed Visual Studio Net over the top of Visual Studio 6, and I'm
guessing that this is probably stuff left over from the earlier
installation. Is there any way I can access it with .NET?

Parallel to the Vfp98 directory, there are also VB98, VIntDev98, and VC98.
Are these accessible any more? Are they of any use to me?

Thanks.

Hi Keith Russel,

Why would you want to install on top of the existing visual studio 6? It works side by side.

I doubt you can use the visual studio 6 project templates in visual studio .net.

Example the templates are in *.csproj or *.vbproj ...

For more info:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\VC#\VC#Wizards

Correct me if i am wrong. Cheers.

Hi Keith Russel,

--> No worries. Human made mistake, but we learned it as a lesson right! :)

Guess I need to reinstall both and start over....
--> Depends on you, if you think you don't have to use the old visual studio 6.0, and proceeds to use .net, then continue using. I am not sure whether will there be any problems on overwritng vs.net to vs6.0.

Hope it helps. Cheers.
