Visual Studio IDE close self on start

hi,

my VS.NET closes on start (after display
message "Preparing to Install")

I'm using VS.NET EA 2003 on Windows 2000 pro machine.

Can anyone help me???

I have the same problem when i installed the visual
studio.net enterprise developer on a windows XP home
edition machine.I get no errors but the IDE refuses to
load.

Any ideas??

Did you find out what was causing this to happen? I'm running 2003 or server 2003 and have just had this happen to my system.
