Hi,
Visual Studio has been giving me major headaches with
regard to deploying smart device applications after
building onto a PocketPC.
I have activeSync 3.5 installed.
My device is plugged in and has a guest association on
ActiveSync. ActiveSync has recognised the device.
Now when I build a project and deploy it... it gives me
the following error:

------ Deploy started: Project: blahblah Configuration:
Debug Pocket PC ------

Deploying to Pocket PC Device using TCP Connect Transport

Error: Cannot establish a connection. Be sure the device
is physically connected to the development computer.

Seems like quite a troublesome issue!
The first time I used a PDA on my machine, it used to
work. After moving the device around I started getting
this error.
Can someone tell me what to do?
Contacting Microsoft support was of no help

Search in "microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.compactframework" for the line "Error: Cannot establish a connection. Be sure the device is physically connected to the development computer", and you'll get a bunch of hits with solutions.
