Hi,

I'm currently evaluating Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 and I have come
across a
problem. A small application that I have has modified the system date
into
the future without me noticing. Upon restarting  Visual Studio 2005
Beta 1 I
get the message  'The Beta period has expired....' which basically
puts a stop
to be evaluation.

Any luck on this, I just got it too. I can't imagine that a reinstall
will work. Maybe I'll have to go to Beta 2 and cross my fingers nothing
blows up. Any registry hacks or something would be nice.

Sheesh, this sounds like a real bummer! I have beta 2 somehwere but have not
installed it yet. Will find it and try it then let you know. How long did
beta 1 last before dying?
