Hi Big_Al,

Do you mean when you download the Whidbey beta 2 version from the MSDN
Download Center, you get an unexpected error 12045 from the dowloading
program?

If so, I suggest you can try to download it again during a clean boot
session--I mean shut off the firewall system or some other anti-virus
softwares which will be loading during the startup of your system. Those
stuffs may cause the downloading program does't work successfully.

Bu the way, I think it is better for you to post such Whidbey related
