Hello
Just a few questions ...
Is there a UML tool in VS.Net?
If there is, what version of UML is compatible with?
Is it any good?
What UML software do you recommend?
I learned UML a few years back but have not been fully using it. I now I
really need to use it fully. I need a UML tool or application that can cope
with large systems and can record the verbs and nouns on the objects. It
would be even better if propeties and proceedures could be defined on
objects with argument types and return types. A another wish list feature
would be UML projects being able to reference other objects in other UML
projects.
Preferable not free software as I would like something that will be
supported and upgraded over time. I need it for a multi-user environment so
different users on different machines can be working on different portions
of the same project at the same time. It would also need some sort of
Source-safe type protection so changes could be rolled back and such.
If you know of anything like this please let me know.
Thanks
Robby.

Collection of resources [1] and Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect [2] which
has been recommended to me by a C# MVP whose name I am sorry to say escapes
me at the moment.

Thanks.
However, I do recall doing some sort of UML type planning in VS back in VB5
or VB6 days. I wonder why they removed that tool from VS?

VS.NET 2003 Enterprise Architect does have support for:
1) Object Role Modeling (ORM)
2) Entity Relationship (ER)
3) Universal Model Language (UML)
I don't use UML that much. I'm using ORM to model our database systems.
