ACT Chart error after installing office 2003

After upgrading office 2002 to 2003, ACT stopped displaying the chart.  The
error I am getting is:

Test Run Graph
Could not display chart. The control is not properly registered.

Reinstalling ACT did not help.  Any idea what control ACT is looking for/how
to fix the issue?

Thanks!

Hi,

Is this problem solved? Even I am getting the same message. Even the
previously stored results do not show the chart!

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Nope.

Some one from Microsoft could answer this one.  Not sure what control ACT is
expecting.

Hi There

I ran into the same thing.  My research showed that MS ACT is looking for
office 10 (i.e. office XP) charting controls from Excel.  As soon as my dev
machine received Office 2003 via AD GP, ACT broke.

I uninstalled and re-installed VS.NET.  I uninstalled and re-installed the
office 10 core components.  All to no avail.

I regret to let you guys know that the only way I am using ACT is on a newly
built machine that does not belong to the AD group that gets office 2003 - I
had Office XP installed on it, then VS.NET 2003, and ACT works.

Sorry.  Terry
