For questions on the Logging Block, Exception Management Application
Block, etc., should we post here or email devfdbck@microsoft.com?  I
would like to think that questions should be posted publically so that
all can benefit.

Hi Howard,

I totally agree with you that posting in the group could benefit all the
community members.

For the questions in applicaiton blocks, you can select:

1) Posting here
2) Sending email to devfdbck@microsoft.com
3) Posting in some specific messageboard in www.gotdotnet.com. For an
example, for Configuration Management Application Block for .NET, you can
post at
http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/MessageBoard/messageBoard.aspx?id=3735,
which is specific for this application block.

In order to find the exact web address for different application blocks, we
can search "gotdotnet message board "Exception Management Application
Block"" in google.com.

Thanks very much and please feel free to post here if there is anything
unclear.

Best regards,
Yanhong Huang

Thanks!  Out of curiosity, why is it that I don't see this message board
displayed in the list of available boards at
http://www.gotdotnet.com/community/messageboard/Home.aspx

Are there "hidden" boards? ... ;-)

Hello Mike,

I have received your email. :)

In fact, that is why I posted here to mention use google to search for that
message board. Not all message boards is listed there. I just did a quick
search and found the link of logging block:
http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/MessageBoard/Thread.aspx?id=190518

According to the posts in that messageboard, the programmers are monitoring
this newsgroup. So if you have any questions on logging application block,
please feel free to post here a new thread.

Thanks very much and feel free to post here if you have any unclear.

Best regards,

Actually the preferred workspace for the Logging Application Block is:
   http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/excep
Note that this workspace is also used for discussion about the Exception
Management Application Block, given the close relationship between the two
blocks.

This workspace is monitored by Microsoft PAG, and also by other users of the
blocks who are often able to provide answers to questions.
