I have a PC104 development system that is running XP embedded. The system
has limited resource (only 70M hard drive space left). Is there a way of
manually installing the remote debug software from VS.NET?
I cannot use msiexec (not installed on system) as described on the 'Remote
Component Setup' html file on the VS.NET CDs.
TIA
Dave
You should be able to just copy over the files and register them. Do you
want to debug managed or native programs, or both? If you just want to
debug native, and your development system has a network connection I
believe you can just share out Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
.NET\Common7\Packages\Debugger and launch msvsmon from there. If you want
to debug managed or mix your going to need to copy over all the remote
files. Let me check to see if I can find a list of them.
