We are looking to licensing a product to assist with development, bug
tracking, code library, etc.  I have seen a demo of Team Foundation Server
and I can see how seamlessly it integrates with Visual Studio.

At this point, most of our applications are written in VBA (Access and
Excel), but we do have a few .NET applications.  Is it possible/feasable to
use Team Foundation Server for VBA applications, especially managing source
code?

If it is possible, is there any literature anywhere on the subject.

Thank you.

Hi,

Based on my understanding, you want to know if it's possible to use TFS to
version control your Access/Excel VBA project. Please feel free to let me
know if I've misunderstood anything.

As far as I know, currently there's no add-in or provider in Access/Excel
to connect to TFS server. However, there does exist some add-in for
Access/Excel to work with Source Safe to version control the VBA project.
For example, here's the add-in for Access 2003:

#Download details: Access 2003 Add-in: Source Code Control
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2ea45ff4-a916-48c5-

By the way, this newsgroup is mainly for asking how to write add-in/macro
for Visual Studio, for office developer related question, it's recommended
to ask in microsoft.public.office.developer.vba or
microsoft.public.office.access.devtoolkits, etc. You can find complete list
of MSDN managed newsgroups here:
