I can record macros, but when I go to run/play then, I get brief hourglass,
brief flash of icon in taskbar, but the macro does not run (nothing
happens).

Is there a setting in VS, or Windows ,OR IE or whatever that could prevent a
macro running within Visual Studio.NET 2003 ??

- Can you set a breakpoint on the macro and debug it?

- Also, if there are compilation errors, the macro will not run

Impossible .. its just the simple macros you get from Ctrl-Shift-Record

No joy in setting the breakpoint.  The status bar says it is running the
script .. there icon appears in the tray area, everything looks like it is
running .. but nothing happens .. nothing changes.

I'm going to try repairing the installation and see if that helps
